ARAS Lab is officially open!!

ARAS Lab is officially open!!

The CArdiac ARrhythmiAs and ObeSity Research Lab (ARAS Lab), officially opened doors on November 1, 2022 at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical SciencesSUNY Buffalo, in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics.

We study the dynamic interaction between fat and the cardiac tissue at molecular, cellular, tissue, whole organ, and system scale under physiological and pathological conditions (e.g., obesity mediated arrhythmias).
