RESEARCH INTERESTS:
My research focuses on mechanistic underpinnings of obesity mediated cardiovascular disorders. I use a multimodal approach including: electrical and optical mapping, integrated omics (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics), cell and tissue imaging, and computational modeling & simulation to study the involvement of cardiac obesity in promoting arrhythmias, heart failure and other cardiac disorders.
